Note to Legal Counsel: Legal counsel visitation is privileged communication and therefore not subject to monitoring/recording. All other visitation facilitated through the video visitation platform is subject to monitoring/recording. In the future, other groups may be approved to access privileged communication via the video visitation platform in line with Alberta's Corrections Act - Corrections Regulation section 1(1)(e). If you or your organization fall under this section, please contact the Edmonton Remand Centre directly to facilitate the visit in person at this time.

Important reminder: To ensure a successful video visitation, the inmate is responsible for physically being at the assigned video visitation station at the scheduled date and time -- this is so the inmate can be there when they are prompted to log in. Failure to do so may result in a delayed or missed appointment.
